Gary Oldman’s black cab broke down while he filmed the new series of Slow Horses in rainy London this week.
The actor, 65, is in the capital to continue filming the fifth instalment of the hugely-popular Apple TV+ thriller.
He looked smart in a grey suit, white shirt and checked scarf as he got to work shooting new scenes.
But the crew were stopped in their tracks after the battered taxi broke down on set and scenes had to be abandoned as a second cab wasn’t available.
In the series, Harry Potter actor Gary stars as Jackson Lamb, who works part of an MI5 agency who battle all the obstacles that land in their way as they try to do their jobs.

The spy thriller wrapped up its most recent season with an episode filled with betrayals and shocking discoveries in Slough House.
Among the bombshells in the episode was Catherine Standish’s (Saskia Reeves) discovery about Jackson Lamb’s involvement in the demise of the traitorous former director-general of MI5, Charles Partner (Game of Thrones’ James Faulkner).
River and Louisa managed to escape the facility, with Shirley meeting them at a hatch to let them out just in time. This meant they managed to get the files out of the facility and destroy them.
However, Sean Donovan never made it out of the facility alive, being killed by the MI5 agents tasked with taking him and the others out.
In the end, it turned out River deceived his grandfather as he kept copies of the files in his car, which he subsequently leaked, believing Ingrid Tearney had to pay for having Alison Dunn killed.
Fans went wild for the last episode and are already demanding season four be released.

‘A beautifully crafted prestige drama that would be more than worthy of a prime-time slot on BBC One. If you’ve ever this should be reason enough to bite the bullet’.
AV Club noted that the show was still ‘still tremendous fun’ in its latest instalment whilst the Evening Standard praised the ‘fiendishly backflipping plot’ featured in the drama.
The Playlist wrote: ‘In an era in which streaming shows so often sag under the weight of episode orders that the writers can’t seem to fill, there’s something so refreshing about a program like that has nary a bit of fat on its six episodes.
There’s never a point when it sags, and yet it’s not an overheated action show at the same time.
It allows for just the right balance of plot and character, often pushing the two forward at the same time.’
Before landing his leading role of Jackson Lamb in the series, Gary hinted he had considered retiring from acting almost 50 years in the business.

Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky on Virgin Radio, Gary said: ‘I think that Lamb gives the impression to the world that he doesn’t care, and maybe, just maybe, he cares more than most.
‘He might be trying to pack it all in. He is sort of treading water and watching the clock until retirement.
‘But like a lot of us who maybe have occasionally felt like walking away and packing it all in, we’re sort of addicted to what we do.
