1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically for travel, and can fit through standard doorways easily with its slim and compact design. It’s also among the lightest double buggies on the market with a weight of just 14lbs when folded. It’s ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler because you won’t be able to over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It can also be folded to the size of the size of a small travel bag so you can store it in the back seat of your car.

The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze, it’s incredibly compact when you get the hang of it and takes seconds to unfold. However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar doesn’t lock into place when you press it, it landed on her legs when she was using it. She also thought the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is particularly true when a large bag for changing is hanging from it.

This double stroller is not as light as other travel buggies. It has a full array of features and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It’s compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and features multiple recline positions as well as a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet to one or both seats, and turn it into a travel set-up.

The four wheels made of rubber are perfect for pavements and urban terrain however they’re not made for off-roading. They struggled with long grass and gravel, and there isn’t much clearance between the wheel and bracket which means that mud could get stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy, and it was able to climb beautiful dirt hills.
