Suspension

The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. It is essential to have a smooth ride as babies can feel every bump on the road. This is especially the case if you’re driving on rough terrain, such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models come with front tires that lock to assist in maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.

Some models use air-filled tyres, which give you a great all-terrain experience, but they can be susceptible to punctures, therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres, designed to take the bumps and can be less prone to punctures however, you may find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child’s back should you decide to jog.
